Description

The Agricultural Research Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, formally announced studies on May 8, 2003, pursuant to OMB Circular A-76 "Performance of Commercial Activities" which cover the following functions and locations: facilities operations and maintenance support services at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC) and National Agricultural Library in Beltsville, Maryland and at the U.S. National Arboretum, Washington, D.C.; research support services at BARC; facilities operations and maintenance support services at the National Animal Disease Center (NADC) and National Soil Tilth Laboratory in Ames, Iowa; research support services at NADC. The solicitations for the formal cost comparison studies are anticipated to be issued during the 3rd and 4th quarters, FY-2004.
