Description

This synopsis is notice that the solicitation for the USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS), Pocatello, Idaho requirement to acquire construction services for the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system for the north warehouse and mixing-area interface at the Pocatello Supply Depot facility will be available on May 27, 2003 (reference the pre-solicitation notice previously published on May 7, 2003). No other synopsis will be posted in reference to the availability of the solicitation (unless a change or update is required). The NAICS for this requirement is 233320. Prior to construction, the contractor is required to submit shop drawings and cut-sheets. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to renovate the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems and other general construction in accordance with the statement of work, specifications manual and blueprints. This is a full and open procurement which is to be awarded as a fixed price contract. The estimated price range for this procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. It is anticipated that a single award will be made. All effort shall be completed within two months after award and the issuance of the notice to proceed. The solicitation, #APHIS-03-010, is to be affixed to all documents submitted in reference to this requirement. The solicitation which includes the specifications manual and blueprints as an attachment will be forwarded to all interested offerors by email. The offeror?s email address must be submitted in order for the solicitation to be forwarded electronically. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Proposals will be due no later than 2:30 p.m. local time on June 27, 2003.
