Description

THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS ONLY. The NAICS code is 541990 with a size standard of $6.0M. The National Institute of Standards and Technology has a requirement to provide onsite assistance with the design and analysis of molecular dynamics simulations of the solvation of molecules that denature macromolecules in aqueous solutions. The choice of molecules to be studied and the potentials needed are major features of the design and shall also assist with preparation of research papers reporting the results. The period of performance is from the date of award through 09/30/03 with One (1) Option Year period. A fixed price purchase order is anticipated to be awarded on or about 10 days from the date of this notice. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is SB1341-03-Q-0471, amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about May 27, 2003 and will only be available via the internet at the above web site. Potential offorers are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. There is no written RFQ available. Telephone requests will not be honored and no bidders list will be maintained.
