Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment Washington intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price supply contract to Roche Applied Science, 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250 for HLA DNA polymerase chain reaction (pr) amplification reagents. This reagent package will be utilized for DNA amplification of both our volunteer donor samples as well as testing patients requiring bone marrow transplant for the Department of Defense Marrow Donor Program. This requirement is for the Naval Medical Research Center, Kensington, MD. This will be awarded as a sole source procurement under FAR 6.302-1. See Note 22. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. All responsible sources may submit an offer, however, only services meeting the Navy?s requirements will be considered for award. All offers must be received in this office no later than 2:00 pm (EST) on 29 May 2003.
