- The Naval Ocean Processing Facility (NOPF), Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, VA is in the process of updating the audiovisual and multimedia systems in its conference/training room. 1) The contractor shall provide the following type of equipment: Cable Television, Terrestrial Television, HDTV or K/KU Band Satellite (GFE); Videoconferencing System; Connectors and Fittings for visiting laptop connection to internal LAN, ISP or other network via analog telecom connection, and video and audio input to pop-up connection panel; Personal Computer permanently installed in lectern with connectivity to network and AV system; Stand Alone Audio Conferencing System; Document Camera; DVD Player; SVHS Player; Rack Mounted VCR for recording and playback; Microphone Mixing and Echo Cancellation System; Wireless and Miniature Gooseneck Multiple Ceiling-Mounted Microphones; Camera Production Video System for producing archival video tapes and live feed to existing RF backbone; Miscellaneous Signal and Control Cables; Custom Lectern to support all AV system requirements; AV Matrix Switching System; Touch Panel Control System with Video and VGA preview capability for all electronics; Wireless Touch Panel Control for portable use; Multimedia Projector (minimum 1800 ANSI Lumens); VGA Distribution; Ceiling Projector Mounting System; Electric Projection Screen; Sound-Masking System; and (2)The contractor shall provide engineering, programming and installation of the above items. This procurement will be conducted as a commercial acquisition under the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. A Firm-Fixed Price contract is anticipated. The delivery and installation of all equipment shall be completed on or before 30 days after contract award. This is a small business set-aside; the applicable NAICS Code is 423620. The size standard is no more than 500 employees. The complete solicitation package will be available on or about June 6, 2003. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www2.eps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
