- Description
- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome, NY intends to solicit orally and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-2. It is our intent to make an award to Cole Innovations, Inc., 7990 Northwood Drive, Rome NY 13440 for the on-site technical support services required for the operation of AFRL's Wireless Information Assurance Research Facility (WIARF). This support consists of operational and developmental activities related to the Facility?s primary research products and projects, the Wireless Detect and Respond Development System (WDRDS) and the Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS). Cole Innovations is the original developer of WDRDS and WIDS. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A firm fixed price contract with a period of performance of 01 July 2003 through 30 Jun 2004 is anticipated. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This acquisition is restricted to 100% small business firms under NAICS 541990 with a small business standard of $5 million average annual revenue for the previous three years.
