Description

NA The US Army Research Laboratory Adelphi, Maryland plans to issue a request for proposal (RFP) on a full and open competition basis for 500 High Voltage Packages. The requirements of the High Voltage Package are as follows: A. 15 kV,50 A, non-hermetic; B. The package must be able to handle a case temperature of 150 Degrees Celsius; C. These packages need to accommodate a maximum die size of 1 X 1 cm; D. The die cavity must be Au plated; E. The package must contain two Cu leads, 15 mils thick, and Au plated; F. The bonding shelf must be 60 mils wide; G. The baseplate material must be closely CTE matched to SiC. (e.g. Cu/W); H. Where necessary, materials in contact must be closely CTE-matched; I. There must not be any metallization on the 100-mil wide bottom s urfaces of the bottom ceramic ring (60 mils thick) extending over the baseplate on two sides of the package (a front view drawing will be provided in the solicitation); J. A top alumina ceramic ringframe must also be attached to the package using a high te mperature glass seal and must be 40 mils thick; K. Drawings of the other fixed dimensions and the general layout of this package will be provided in the solicitation. This procurement is considered a commercial buy. The solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested should respond by submitting a proposal. No telephone requests will be honored.
