Description

NA The Norfolk District is offering for sale approximately 12,084 tons of standing pine sawtimber, 866 tons of standing pine pulpwood, 690 tons of standing hardwood sawtimber, and 609 tons of standing hardwood pulpwood on approximately 202 acres at Fort A.P. Hill, Bowling Green, Virginia. The total number of items for this sale is two (2). The timber to be sold may be inspected by prospective purchasers through June 25, 2003. Arrangements for inspections should be made by contacting Mr. Carl Berggren, telephone (804) 633-8431. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., June 26, 2003, by the Acquisition, Management and Disposal Section, Real Estate Branch, Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23510-1096, and then and there public ly opened and announced. Forms for use in submitting bids may be obtained from Mr. Berggren at Fort A.P. Hill or from the Acquisition, Management and Disposal Section, address shown above. Terms and conditions of sale, procedure for submitting bids, and a description of the timb er are contained in the bid forms. This sale will be sold by LUMP SUM.
