Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about June 12, 2003. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000.The NAICS code is 238160. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitations and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. The work of this contract consists of removing existing asphalt shingles and felt underlayment to wood roof deck. Re-roof with asphalt shingles, felt underlayment, self-adhesive bituminous sheet membrane, ridge caps and drip edges, removing existing deteriorated wood roof deck and replacing in kind, removing existing sheet metal flashing and replacing in kind, removing existing asphalt shingles and felt underlayment to wood roof deck. Re-roof with modified rolled rubber roof. The location of the work to be performed is Building 130, Gateway National Recreation Area, Sandy Hook Unit, Fort Hancock, New Jersey, 07732.
