Description

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, with PEC Solutions, Inc. for software implementation support for a one-year period, from the date of award, with the option of one additional year. In Phase I, PEC gained an in-depth knowledge of the CMS infrastructure, the Independent Test Facility at the CMS Data Center, and the legacy UserID Tracking System that is being replaced. Additionally, PEC assisted CMS in the selection of the BMC InControl software, that will be used as the enterprise-wide user access management replacement tool for the Agency. In Phase II, PEC will provide assistance to CMS in the implementation and deployment of the BMC InControl software. The procurement will be conducted under other than full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). If no affirmative written documentation is received within (30) calendar days of this synopsis, CMS will proceed with negotiations to issue a GSA schedule award to PEC Solutions, Inc.
