Description

Quotes are being requested by the Federal Highway Administration's Simplified Acquisitions Department with the intent to procure galvanized steel culvert pipe for a construction project, Walden Point Road, Annette Island, Alaska; Solicitation number DTFH70-03-Q-0020 is a Request For Quotation prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, the acquisition of commercial items in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; this is a combined synopsis/solicitation and this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; additional information can be viewed at the solicitation link to this notice; a hard copy solicitation will not be issued; the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular FAC 2001-13; all firms responding must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR); the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332322 and the size standard is 500; this Request For Quotation is 100% set-a-side for small business (FAR 52.219-6); the estimated price range for this procurement is anticipated to be >$25,000 and <$125,000; telephone quotes will not be accepted; once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments to any or all documents; FAR Provisions and Clauses can be viewed and/or downloaded from http://www.arnet.gov/far; due date for quotation is June 12, 2003; you can download and fax or mail your quote along with supporting data to: Federal Highway Administration Attn: Patricia Mahurin Simplified Acquisitions, 610 East 5th Street, Vancouver, WA 98661; Fax Number (360)619-7855.
