Description

NA The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with NIDA Corporation on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Government believes that this contractor is the only sou rce able to provide the required supplies and Services within the time frame required. The Solicitation number for this acquisition is DABK11-03-T-3024. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However all proposals received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to com pete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Require ment items are for NIDA Corporation, Electronics Training Classroom consisting of fifty two (52) function generators, forty (40) experiment card sets and twenty (20) modified 1446 cb card sets. All items are to be networked in the classroom and fully co mpatible and configurable with existing electronic training systems. Experiment cards are specifically designed for Digital Fundamental lessons allowing instruction of students simultaneously in any computer-aided instruction (CAI) equipped classroom. T he Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 3672 (1000 employees) NAIC CODE 333319 applies. Purchasing Agent is Emmogene Battle, 706-791-1831, Contracting Officer Joyce Walsh, 706-791-1825.
