- NA The Government intends to raise the dollar threshold, extend the contract term 6 months and combine contract periods under contract DACA31-00-D-0052. The contract is an Indefinite Delivery-master planning contract advertised in the Commerce Business Daily 3 February 2000, for the Baltimore District Army Corps of Engineers. The contract was awarded to STV, Inc. 7125 Ambassador Road, Baltimore, MD 21244, for one base period of $1,000,000 and two option periods of $1,000,000 each. Under this contract, the majo rity of the delivery orders issued under this contract have been in support of Fort Detrick, MD. The end of FY03 is expected to require a number of installation master planning efforts, which will include multiple delivery orders for project documentation , planning charettes, and DD 1391 forms. Because of the AEs experience and the customers desire to continue working with this AE, services from any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be re covered through competition or unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencys requirements. Therefore, the Baltimore District is intending to issue a modification to the contract to increase the total contract values from $3,000,000 for a total value of $3, 500,000, extend the term of the contract 6 months, and combine contract periods into one period. The contractor completing this work will have to assume full liability for the previously completed projects within budget and schedule, and satisfy the effor t of this project, the Installation, and the User.
