Description
This is a modification to extend response date from 27 January 2003 to 20 February 2003. Synopsis: This is a sole source acquisition to Eaton AeroQuip, Inc. Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. The U. S. Coast Guard, Aviation Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC intends to issue a firm fixed-price/requirements type contract with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Eaton AeroQuip, Inc. This acquisition is for Convoluted PTFE Medium Pressure Hose Assembly Kits, P/N AE32142-026. Estimated quantity is 42 EA. Each kit consists of 18 EA convoluted PTFE medium pressure hose assemblies. Items are to be delivered to USCG, ARSC Receiving Section, Building 63, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, 27909-5001. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide drawings or specifications for these items. Offerors, other than the OEM, must possess NAVICP-PICA certification as a certified source of supply and must provide proof of such prior to contract award. Information regarding NAVICP-PICA certification may be obtained from NAVICP Internet Address: http://www.navicp.navy.mil/sabs/sas/sascover.htm. Contract period will be one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. Solicitation release date is anticipated to be 28 December 2002, and proposals must be received by 27 January 2003, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Offers may be submitted on company letterhead stationery indicating nomenclature, part number, unit price, and extended price for the items offered; plus the FOB point, any discounts for prompt payment and business size standards and any minority classification.
