Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to solicit only one source, under the authority of 10U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). Socorro Janitorial Services, Socorro New Mexico, for Janitorial Custodial Service at the Permanent High Explosive Test Site (PHETS) located at Stallion Range in the northern section of White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico. This requirement will be for one Basic year from date of award and two additional one-year option periods. This Firm Fixed Price procurement is conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotes. However, all interested firms shall provide a letter of interest and capabilities statement for this requirement. Qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after 9 Jun 2003 will be considered nonresponsive and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
