Description

This project consists of replacing existing boardwalks with accessible boardwalks. There are four in all, existing lengths are 96 feet, 24 feet, 24 feet, and 8 feet. The shorter ones will be replaced with planks running perpendicular to the travel direction for compliance with ADA. The 96 foot will be replaced with a 135 foot boardwalk in order to gain 60 inches of elevation in compliance with ADA. The project is located on the Lagoon Trail which circles Lagoon Campground, Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, Siuslaw National Forest, Lane County, Oregon. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. The Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The successful offeror shall be required to submit a Payment Bond (100%) prior to start of work. Contract time is 60 calendar days. Estimated start work date is Aug/Sept 2003. This solicitation is not set aside for small business concerns. (The solicitation packet is estimated to be posted in FedBizOpps on or about June 17, 2003.)
