Description
The AMC Contracting Flight (AMC) anticipates issuance of a solicitation on a full and open competitive basis for C-20B (GIII) Pilot/Flight Engineer Training. This requirement is for Initial Pilot/Flight Engineer Training, Refresher Pilot/Flight Engineer Training, Pilot Proficiency Training, Crew Emergency Training, Maintenance Initial, Maintenance Update, Engine Run and Taxi, Cockpit Fault Analysis, Supplementary Simulator Training Hours, Simulator Position Fill-Ins, and Senior Officer Courses. The required training services are for an estimated amount of 10 for Initial Pilot/Flight Engineer Training, 20 for Refresher Pilot/Flight Engineer Training, 14 for Pilot Proficiency Training, five (5) for Maintenance Initial, five (5) Maintenance Update, five (5) for Engine Run and Taxi, five (5) for Cockpit Fault Analysis, and one (1) Senior Officer Course. It is estimated that 50 students will attend Crew Emergency Training and that four (4) hours of both Supplementary Simulator Training and Simulator Position Fill-Ins will be required. Initial and Refresher Pilot/Flight Training classes will normally consist of 2 pilots and 1 flight engineer. Pilot proficiency training classes will normally consist of 2 pilots. Maintenance Initial, Maintenance Update, Engine Run and Taxi, and Cockpit Fault Analysis courses will consist of 1 flight engineer. The Pilot Senior Officer Training will consist of 1 Air Force Instructor Pilot and 1 Senior Officer Pilot per class. The resultant contract will be a requirements contract commencing on 1 Oct 2003 with four (4) one (1) year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611512. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Anticipated issuance date of solicitation is on or about 19 June 2003. Anticipated date for receipt of proposals is 18 July 2003. No hardcopies of this solicitation will be issued.
