Description

NA Noncompetitive negotiations for a New Sole Source Firm Fixed Price Contract are contemplated with Transistor Devices, Inc. Cage code 09004, for a quantity of 15 Each DC to AC Power Inverter 8KVA, NSN 6130014187787, with an option for an additional quantity of up to 100%. This item is part of the AN/TRC-138C Radio Repeater Set, AN/TRC-173B Radio Terminal Set, AN/TRC-173B Radio Repeater Set and AN/TRC-175B Radio Terminal Set which are used with the High Mobility Digital Group Multiplexer (DGM) Assemblage (HMD A). Delivery of the basic quantity is to be within 180 days after the date of award of the contract. Noncompetitive acquisition is based on 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source. This item is unique to the Government and is bein g procured as spare replacements where the present configuration must be maintained. The Government does not possess the technical data needed to manufacture this Inverter. The forecasted date for this solicitation is 15 days after this notice is posted. All requests for further information must be in writing or via email, telephone requests for additional information will not be honored.
