THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED UNDER SECTION 8(a) OF THE SMALL BUSINESS ACT (15 U.S.C. 637(a))8(a) COMPETITIVE FOR REGION IV. THIS PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE OFF (PPTO) SOLICITATION. This is a solicitation for two 2 IDIQ contracts. One contract shall be awarded for work within Calhoun County, Alabama only, to include Anniston Army Depot, Fort McClellan, and other civil and military installations/facilities within Calhoun County, Alaba ma.The second contract shall be awarded for work within North and Central Mississippi, North and Central Alabama, and Calhoun County, Alabama, including Columbus Air Force Base, MS; Redstone Arsenal, AL; Anniston Army Depot, AL and Fort McClellan, AL. Esti mated Cost of the Project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Work shall consist of issuing Task Orders for Miscellaneous O&M and MILCON support for military and civil installations/facilities with two (2) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contr acts, each consisting of a base year with 2 additional optional years (which may or may not be exercised) at approximately $5 million each year with an estimated total value of approximately $15 million per contract. Individual task orders will be issued in accordance with the contract clauses.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220. Contracting Officer for this project is Mr. Gene Curtis. Bid documents should be available by approximately 19 June 2003. Only those firms meeting the Small Business Administration's (SBA) criterion, and having previously been certified by the SBA as an 8(a) Contractor, are eligible to compete for this procurement. It has been determined by the SBA that competition will be restricted to 8(a) firms which have a NAICS code of 236220 among their approved NAICS Codes and which are serviced by the following SBA District Offices: Region IV.
