- NA This solicitation is issued under the revised OMB Circular No. A-76 dated 29 May 2003. The revised OMB Circular No. A-76 is available at http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/circulars/a076/a76_rev2003.pdf. This requirement is 100 percent set-aside for Small Bus iness Concerns, NAICS Code 561720. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held on 26 June 2003. Offerors shall meet at the WRAMC A76 Conference Room #A318, Bldg 1 at 8:00 AM. Offerors attending the preproposal conference and site visit must reg ister with Ms. Johanna Mendiola at Johanna.Mendiola@AMEDD.ARMY.MIL or Ms. Shirley Tolbert at Shirley.Tolbert@AMEDD.ARMY.MIL not later than 1500 CT, 18 June 2003, with the names of the individuals planning to attend. Due to security, only those companies a nd individuals who have registered by the deadline, will be allowed access to the facilities for the conference. The government in-house workforce is currently performing the services. Accordingly, a contract may or may not ultimately be awarded as a res ult of the study/cost comparison. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price. In order to propose on this requirement, a contractor, as a firm, MUST HAVE experience in managing and providing hospital housekeeping services to institutions of similar s ize and scope as required by the solicitation. The contractor must have gained this experience as a result of being regularly engaged in the business of providing services in health care/patient care environments of similar size and scope required by the s olicitation. The minimum level of acceptable experience required is 24 months within the previous 36 months from the date initially established for submission of proposals. Periods of creditable performance may have been incurred at more than one site for at least 12 consecutive calendar months at each site and cannot be incurred concurrently. There will be a three-month transition period prior to commencement of contract performance. The period of performance is expected to run from the end of the transiti on period for a basic and four one-year option periods from approximately April 2005 through March 2010.
