- Description
- Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD 20670 has a requirement for hardware and technical data required to implement Power Plant Changes directed by Engineering Change Proposals on J85-GE-21C engines. Navair intends to issue sole source, firm fixed price delivery orders to General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, MA. This procurement consists of hardware and technical data required for implementation of Power Plant Changes (PPCs) directed by Engineering Change Proposals. The requirement includes seventy-nine (79) retrofit kits (P/N 1939T33G01) which contain hardware to retrofit J85-GE-21C engines with an improved Variable Exhaust Nozzle Leaves on J85-GE-21C engines, one hundred-seven (107) retrofit kits (P/N 1941T41G01) which contain hardware to retrofit J85-GE-21C engines with an improved Ignition System on J85-GE-21C engines and one hundred-seven (107) retrofit kits (P/N 4148T88P06) which contain hardware to retrofit J85-GE-21C engines with an improved High Temperature Clamps on J85-GE-21C engines.
