Description
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is soliciting a proposal from an open field of prospective offerors capable of providing the services described in the attached solicitation. If your organization submits an offer, it must be submitted in accordance with the attached solicitation at the place and time indicated in Block 8 of the Cover Page (Standard Form 33). This procurement is being pursued under full and open competitive procedures. Subcontracting is contemplated by the nature of the requirement. For organizations other than small businesses, the RFP contains a required subcontracting goal of 14% to be allocated among small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, and women-owned small businesses. The NAIC Code for this RFP is 541611, and the small business size standard is $5 million dollars in annual receipts. USAID encourages the participation to the maximum extent possible of U.S. Disadvantaged Enterprise Program entities and small business concerns. The estimated cost for the performance of the work required hereunder, exclusive of fixed fee, if any, is $37,000,000.00. The fixed fee, if any, is $3,000,000.00. The estimated cost plus fixed fee, if any, is $40,000,000.00. The objective of this contract is to expand agriculture productivity, rehabilitate key agroecosystems, and restore the capacity of rural agroenterprise to produce, process, and market agricultural goods and services. The implementation of this program will only take place in permissive areas and only after USAID instructs the contractor to proceed (see special provision). Please read the entire document.
