Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. It is the agency intention to award this as a sole source procurement per FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (ii) (A) to Avtec, Inc., 4335 Augusta Highway, Gilbert, SC 29054. Award will be made by June 30, 2003. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://ww.arnet.gov/far. RFQ R1-04-03-81 is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 334290, Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing. Line Item (1) Ten (10) Each Line cards for Avtec Console Model 1700-330-0101. FOB destination to: Idaho Panhandle National Forest, 3815 Schreiber Way, Coeur dAlene, Idaho 83815-8363 on regular working days (Monday through Friday) during normal business hours (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) excluding Federal Government holidays. One firm-fixed price contract will be offered to the best value offer made to the Government, considering past performance, technical capability and price. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
