Description

NA Any questions regarding this solicitation should be address to: J. Alex Smith at j.alex.smith@usace.army.mil. Provide equipment including operator for work to be conducted under the direction of Seattle district U. S. Army Corps of Engineers to perform e nvironmental restoration on the Union Slough, north of the town of Everett and West of Snohomish, in Snohomish County, Washington. The work will consist of building new levees, augmenting existing roads, and grading the future inter-tidal site for proper d rainage during tide changes. The project consists of removing the existing levees to open additional land for intertidal habitat. The Equipment will be used to construct new levees. All work shall be completed in accordance with plans and specifications pa ckage. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 with a size standard of $28.5 million. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUBZone, small disad vantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $28.5 million. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on the Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Web page in electronic format only . No disks will be mailed. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 20 June 2003.
