- The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) intends to issue a solicitation to establish Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts to provide Food Service Equipment (FSE) and incidental services to the U.S. Military and other authorized customers of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Under the FSE Prime Vendor (PV) Program, the government intends to purchase a broad range of food service equipment and incidental services to be used by the military and other government land dining facilities at various locations worldwide as well as Navy and shipboard galleys, government dining halls and government or institutional cafeterias in order to produce, prepare or store food products and clean utensils and equipment. This also includes products associated with the receipt and storage of food, serving, presentation and preservation of food and clean up or maintenance of FSE. The FSE PV Program does not include accessories such as certain small wares, table wares or Food Service Operating Supplies (FSOS) that fall under other DSCP Prime Vendor contracts or those items managed by other government programs. To provide definition and boundaries, awards will be made based on six designated zones for the following areas: ZONE I - CONUS, EAST; ZONE II ? CONUS, WEST; ZONE III - OCONUS, EAST; ZONE IV ? OCONUS, WEST; ZONE V - MARITIME, EAST; ZONE VI ? MARITIME, WEST Zones I, III, and IV will be solicited as Unrestricted; Zones II, V, and VI will be solicited as Total Small Business Set-Asides. Estimated annual dollar value is $52,000,000. Performance will commence on June 28, 2004. The contracts will be awarded as Indefinite Delivery Contracts. The base contract period will be one (1) year with the Government to hold four (4) one year options.
