Description

This is a major reconstruction project on Forest Road (FS) Rd 27. Reconstruction consists of shifting the centerline of the existing road approximately 3-4 feet to the left. This will require the cut slopes to be excavated to allow for the new road widths. Project will require removal of approximately 40 existing corrugated metal relief pipes, and reinstallation of new pipes and down spouts as directed on the drainage sheet. The project is located on FS Rd 27 between Kmp. 9.66 and 14.48 on the Lookout Mountain Ranger District of the Ochoco National Forest. Contractor shall furnish construction materials as per contract requirements. It is the contractor?s responsibility to remove the old pipes and dispose of them off federal lands. Work associated with this project also includes: Maintaining FS Roads 2705 and 2710 as a detour while FS road 27 is under reconstruction; haul and placement of pit run aggregate; haul and placement of crushed aggregate for a base course and an asphalt overlay. This road will have super-elevations built into the curves as shown on the drawings The contractor is responsible for all required permits, unless otherwise noted. THIS PROJECT IS LOCATED ON THE OCHOCO NATIONAL FOREST. The price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This will be a Hubzone Set-aside project. This notice is amended to read: The issue date is June 17 and the response date is July 16, 2003.
