- In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.= 2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis = of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source = procedures. The Logistics Center at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center = intends to award a single contract to Dimensions International Inc., Alexan= dria, VA for the repair and modification of equipment supporting the Termin= al Automation Interface Unit (TAIU). The TAIU provides radar and ARTS Data= to the Airport Movement and Safety System. The TAIU was purchased from Dime= nsions International who has the knowledge and capabilities to support this= requirement. If your firm does not ag= ree with this single source determination, please provide evidence of your = firm's capabilities and experience in providing the above service. The FAA= will evaluate the information accordingly. Statements that data will be o= btained or that specifications and drawings will be developed are not accep= table. Potential sources must provide documentation to the FAA showing pro= of of rights to use the date from Dimensions International. Mark responses= to this survey with Market Survey File No. 09R11932 to arrive with the con= tracting officer no later than June 13, 2003. The FAA will not pay for any= information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this mark= et survey. Any proprietary information should be so marked.
