Description

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to negotiate a sole-source award to Stonehouse Media, Lawrenceville, NJ for the duplication and distribution of a proprietary interactive CD-ROM entitled: ?Bomb Threat Management: An Interactive Tool for Schools.? ATF requires that this CD-ROM, originally produced in 2001 by Stonehouse Media, be duplicated and distributed to schools and local law enforcement nationwide. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider clear and convincing evidence submitted by companies showing they have the rights to copy the interactive CD ROM within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
