Description

NA This amendment is to update the original AFSI announcement to reflect the posting of the Final Request for Proposal (RFP). Also posted are the Answers to Questions received from the draft RFP and supplemental technical data for this NDCEE competitive proc urement action. This is a notice to all interested parties that they may obtain an electronic copy of the FINAL RFP and the additional data on 6 June 2003 at the following url - http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/RFP1.asp. A one (1) day On-Site visi t at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant is anticipated during the period 7-10 July 2003. We anticipate room for only one (1) representative per company. You may state your companys attendance by emailing your company name, address, attendees name and pho ne number, and email address to the DCCW Points of Contact listed at the bottom of this description. A firm schedule will be provided to those who responded with the aforementioned data. Please NOTE: Due to system glitches, CLIN 0002 in the RFP does no t show Not Separately Priced (NSP) ?????? this will be fixed on the award document. Due to mail screening processes, mail is sometimes damaged and receipt of proposals may experience a 2-3 week delay. Therefore, Overnight Mail to the attention of Pat Den ard, DCC-W, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, D.C. 20310-5200 is the most timely and secure process for sending proposals for the new NDCEE requirement. Due to security issues, access into the Pentagon is limited. Interested parties may hand deliver propo sals by calling the POCs listed above. They will make arrangements to have someone accept your proposal outside the Pentagon building. This office must receive proposals submitted in accordance with the RFP no later than 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time, Jul y 21, 2003. This is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract with an anticipated award date o/a 15 November 2003 for an estimated value of $350 million.
