- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, NNSY Annex intends to contract for one (1) each CVN flight deck safety net padding. Contractor shall remove existing pads, template, fabricate in accordance with NAVSEA dwg No. 6225794, Rev L, and install new pads. Installation of new pads must be accomplished NLT 27 September 2003. The government will provide a JLG and rigging necessary to assist contractor in removal/installation of padding. Prospective contractors shall be required to attend a mandatory site visit to occur on 20 June 2003, 9:00 AM, Naval Operations Base, Norfolk, VA. Contractor personnel accessing the ship must posses United States Citizenship. The following information must be submitted for each contractor employee desiring to attend the ship check: Full given name, DOB, Place of Birth, Social Security number, company title. The required information shall be submitted not later than 10:00 AM, 17 June 2003 and may be sent by mail or via e-mail to the address shown in this announcement A Firm Fixed-Price contract is anticipated utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 12. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to NNSY/NOB (exact location to be identified in award). The closing date for receipt of offers will be 27 June 2003, 4:00 PM (local time). Requests for a solicitation package will be accepted via mail addressed to: FISC NNSY Annex, Attn: Code 532.1G/Karen England, Bldg 1500, 2nd Floor, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000 or via e-mail englandkl@nnsy.navy.mil. Fax and/or phone requests ARE NOT AUTHORIZED and will not be accepted. Important Notice: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration applies. Lack of registration in the CCR data base will make an offeror/quoter ineligible for award. Information may be obtained at www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2243.
