- U.S. General Services Administration Seeks Space For Lease In New Haven, CT. REQUIREMENTS: The United States General Services Administration is seeking to lease approximately 17,500 BOMA Rentable Square Feet (BRSF) of office and warehouse that yields a minimum of 15,450 BOMA Usable Square Feet (BOUSF) and a maximum of 16,200 BOUSF for use by tenant for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. A single story building would be preferred with approximately 60% warehouse/work-shop space. If an offeror proposes to satisfy the requirements of this requirement through the construction of a new building or the construction of an addition to an existing building, the offeror shall be solely responsible for the investigation into and remediation of any environmental hazards or liabilities and compliance with all NEPA requirements. All new construction offers shall also comply with the 50-foot set back requirement. LOCATION: Within the city of New Haven, Connecticut, within the following area bounded by: North ? Hamden town line; East ? East Haven town line; West ? Howard Avenue; South ? Long Island Sound. LEASE TERM: 10 year firm term. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for occupancy no later than May 1, 2004. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AND BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN COB June 20, 2003: 1. Building/Site address. 2. Available BOMA Usable Square Feet. 3. Floor Plan. 4.
