- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used in accordance with FAR 13.5. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to procure on a sole source basis from Concurrent Computer Corp, the following Power Stack Workstations: five (5) MAXAda (Base + Single User) (WL1507-JM), five (5) NightStarTools for PowerMAX OS (WU1220-JDV, twelve (12) total software monthly maintenance (SW-MM), two (2) Power Stack III Dual PowerPC – 128MB (HOPS22-H), five (5) 4MM DAT Tape (TC6164A-AE), and five (5) 3.5 inch Disk frame & carrier (SN7801), five (5) 16-Bit 3.5 inch dis k carrier (SN7802), two (2) PowerWorks Development Env, Single User, 2 CPUs (WA9000-JKDV), three (3) PowerWorks Development Env, Single User, 1 CPU (WA9000-JMDV), five (5) C2 Audit Module (WA9035-JM), three (3) PowerStack II Single PowerPC – 128MB (HOPS21-H), one (1) System Integration for preceding items: twelve (12) total monthly hardware maintenance (HW-MM), twelve (12) total monthly software maintenance (SW-MM). This acquisition will occur via a Firm Fixed Price contract. All items shall be delivered and accepted FOB-Destination to the Receiving Officer, Bldg. 125, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5100, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 2:30 PM on weekdays. No deliveries will be accepted on Federal holidays. Delivery is required no later than one month ARO. This solicitation number is N00178-03-R-2043 it is issued as a Request for proposal (RFP). T his solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12 (27 January 2003), and DFARS Change Notice 20030214. The NAICS Code associated with this procurement is 334119; the small business size standard is 1000 employees. All offerors must include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with it’s offer. Additionally, FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, subparagraphs (a), (b)(1), (b)(5), (b)(11-15), (b)(22), (d), and (e) apply to this solicitation and are hereby incorporated by reference. Finally, DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Req uired to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, subparagraphs (a)(252.225-7007), (a)(252.225-7012), (a)(252.243-7002), and (b), and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, also apply to this acquisition. The Defense Priority and Allocation System (DPAS) rating is DO-A70. The closing date for receipt of quotes is 3:00 p.m. (Eastern time) 2 May 2003.
