Description

The USDA, AMS, Cotton Program intends to procure 35,500 woven polypropylene cotton sacks constructed as per specifications. For Specifications please call Amanda Stollings @ 901-384-3310. A sample is required for government testing and approval with the submitted proposal. Upon approval of the sample and award of a purchase order, delivery shall be FOB Destination to the Ten USDA Offices Listed in the Specifications. NAICS Code 325199 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded, the expected period of performance will be from May 20, 2003 through September 30, 2003. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This soliciation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12.
