- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate a non-competitive contract with the Female Health Company, 875 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 3660, Chicago, IL 60611. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has a requirement for 6,000,000 female condoms pieces. The base quantity for 18 months totaling 3,000,000 female condoms pieces with an option to purchase up to 6,000,000. The subsequent two years of procurement will be for a base quantity of 2,000,000 each year and an option of up to 6,000,000 each year. The product will be packaged with individual lubricant sachet and instruction inserts (ratio 1 insert to 3 female condoms). As The Female Health Company is currently the only FDA-approved source for the manufacture of this product, USAID intends to negotiate a contract with this organization on a sole-source basis.
