Description

Amendment 0002 to Solicitation no. USSS030032 provides the following clarifications and revisions: Question 1: May I quote a slightly larger unit that measures ?5 1/32? tall? Answer 1: Yes . The overall housing dimensions are increased to read not larger than 5 and 1/32 inches tall by 13.5 inches wide by 2.0 inches deep; Question 2: Do you wish a simple alternating blue/red flash pattern or any selectable flash patterns? Answer 2: selectable flash patterns are not required, under Solicitation USSS030032, as amended. Question 3: Can I bid a similar light without the white lights? Answer 3: See solicitation USSS030032, as amended. White LEDs are required. Question 4: Can I bid the contract without the rubberized switch? Answer 4: The rubberized switch is a preferred feature, however any protruding push/push on/off switch is acceptable. Question 5: What is the purpose of the white LEDs and under what conditions are they illuminated? Answer 5: The white LEDs provide enhanced visibility. The blue/white and red/white arrays alternately flash. The white LEDs on the right array flash along with the colored diodes on the right array, and the white LEDs on the left array flash with colored diodes on the left array. Question 6: Are magnets required? Answer 6: No. No magnets are required under Solicitation USSS030032, as amended. Question 7: Is a bluish-white floodlight required? Answer 7: No. No floodlight is required under Solicitation USSS030032, as amended. Question 8: Will either the quote due date or delivery dates be revised or extended? Answer 8: No. Quotes due Tuesday June 10, 2003, 10 AM. Offeror must acknowledge receipt of Amendments. Delivery requirements under Solicitation USSS030032, as amended, remain unchanged.
