- Description
- The requirement is to install a new Duro-Last roofing system, remove and cover roof equipment, remove existing and install new roof equipment and clean, remove rust and paint metal facade on the main laboratory building of the USDA Forest Service, Southern Research Station laboratory located in Oxford, MS. The coverage area is approximately 14,122 square feet. There will be a pre-bid showing on or about June 27, 2003 and all interested parties ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to attend. Please call (828) 257-4851 to confirm date of pre-bid showing. The issue date for the solicitation will be on June 23, 2003. The period of performance for this project is 60 calendar days. A payment bond or other approved payment protection in the amount of 100% of the contract award price will be required to be furnished by the successful awardee within 10 days after award. This project is being advertised under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program which allows for quotes to be considered from any responsbile source.
