- NA Corrosion Control Phase I, McConnell AFB, KS The work to be performed consists of demolition of five facilities, rehabbing three hangars (1166, 1176S, & 1176N) and providing the design and construction for three new facilities ( POL Operations, Military F uel Station, and Refueler Maintenance Building). These new facilities include a classroom, administrative offices, petroleum laboratory, common areas, maintenance areas, storage areas and operation areas. Sub elements of the work will include multi- discip line design services and construction of steel frames, HVAC systems, fuel distribution system, fire alarm and suppression system, plumbing for restrooms, locker room and kitchenettes, and standing seam metal. Work also includes utility relocation and new connections, construction of parking, site drainage, street lighting and landscaping. A Fixed-Price contract is contemplated. The contractor will be competitively chosen using Best Value Source Selection procedures. A request for proposal outlining speci fic requirements will be issued on or about 26 June 2003. The contract shall be awarded based on the funds available and maybe awarded without discussion. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The NAICS code for this project is 233320. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. If you are a large business, are selected for this effort and your proposal exceeds $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUB Zon e, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last three fiscal years, does not exceed $27,500,0 00.
