THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. THIS PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR P ROPOSAL RFP, PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE OFF (PPTO) SOLICITATION. Contracting Officer for this project will be Mr. Ed Slana. In general, the work shall consist of the following: Demolish existing asphalt parking lots and roadways and construct new asphalt lots with concrete gutters and storm drainage. Provide area lighting for paved sidewalks and parking areas with landscaping with irrigation. Relocate utilities (electrical, potable water, sanitary sewer, and gas). Construction phasing is required. The North Am erican Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237310. Estimated cost of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid documents should be available by approximately 30 June 2003. Note No. 1: Any prospective bidder intereste d in bidding on this solicitation must register for plans and specifications in order to download a copy of the solicitation and be placed on the plan holder's list. Contractors must meet at the Corps of Engineers Hurlburt Field Resident Engineers Office, Bldg. 90052, 425 Independence Road, Hurlburt Field, at 0930 hrs on 10 July 2003. Contractors will be required to register with Ms . Henry for installation access and will be required to provide a valid drivers license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration to gain access to the installation.
