Description: The Bureau of Land Management intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Soil Stabilization Products Company, Inc. P.O. Box 2779, Merced, CA 95344-0779 to acquire 25 Drums of EM Squared Stabilitzer (Concrete Stabilizer). No Calcium based or Magnesium Chloride based stabilizer will be accepted. The proposed action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The reason justifying this sole source procurement is: Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. Any firm that believes it can furnish the exact item described above are encouraged to give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses received within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should include the firm's business size [e.g. small business, other than small business] in accordance with the size standard: $21 Mil. for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 325998.
