- The Department of the Interior intends to award a contract to Scully's Metal Works, 1015 Stephensonville Road, Morgan City, LA 70380. The award is a sole-source/urgent requirement for the Office of International Affairs. The contractor shall manufacture two specialized aluminum boats to support effective law enforcement protection of the Galapagos Marine Reserve in Ecuador, South America. Specifications: 2 aluminum boats fitted with 75 HP Mercury four stroke outboard engines, Model 1760 V bottom, length - 17 feet, beam - 6 feet, 10 inches, weight approximately 900 pounds each, constructed of 3/16 inch thick marine grade aluminum with rectangular beam gunwales and 5 inch flange plate frames. No solicitation documents will be issued.
