Description

Project calls for the replacement of roofs on POL tanks at Dyess AFB, TX. Work includes but is not necessarily limited to the removal of geodesic domes from bulk storage tanks and replaced with new fixed cone roofs in accordance with MIL-HDBK 1022. This will be a full and open competition RFP with a qualifier that states only tank erectors with at least 5 years of successful experience involving the repairs/installation of jet fuel with at least 3 projects of similar scope and size be considered for bidding evaluation. The estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The estimated construction time is 180 calendar days. Site Visit Scheduled for June 24, 2003 at Dyess AFB, Contracting office 1000 hrs.
