Description

NA Requirements type contract for meals, lodging and transportation for applicants processing through the Des Moines Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) during the base period of 1 Nov 2003 through 30 Apr 2004 with four option periods. Services are f or a supper meal, overnight lodging, breakfast the next morning and transportation to the MEPS. It is estimated that there will be 8972 applicants processing yearly. The number of applicants daily will possibly reach 135 maximum, but average 35 applican ts daily. This contract will be awarded on a Best Value basis using the tradeoff source selection process. The appropriate NAICS code is 721110 with a size standard of $6M. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The so licitation will be posted on the Fort Knox hompage website at: http://knox-www.army.mil/garrison/doc/contracting_opportunities.htm on or about 12 June 2003. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be l ikewise posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
