Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a firm-fixed price order under Basic Order Agreement (BOA) Number N00019-00-G-0280 for the development and integration of a Tactics Trainer (TT) into the Taiwan E-2T Hawkeye 2000E (HE2KE) Software Development Laboratory (SDL). Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) is currently on contract to develop and manufacture the Taiwan Hawkeye 2000E Software Development Laboratory under BOA N00019-00-G-0280. Associated logistics support, materials for the combination SDL/TT, in-country Contractor Engineering Technical Support (CETS), and training will also be provided to support the trainer and coincide with delivery of the E2-T production aircraft. NAVAIR intends to negotiate this order on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, New York 11714. Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer and systems integrator of the E-2C aircraft and weapon system and, as such, is the only firm with knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to provide the required supplies and services in a timely manner for the purposes of meeting the Taiwan Air Force operational needs.
