Description

Dockside repairs to the NOAA Ship DELAWARE II to be performed at NOAA's Northeast Support Facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, Massachusetts 02543. Performance period to commence on or about June 2, 2003 and be completed on or before July 3, 2003 (31 calendar days). Basic contract items include Chilled/Hot Water Piping Modifications; Potable Water Tank Preservation. In addition, there will be an option item: Main Engine Muffler Replacement. The NOAA Ship DELAWARE II will be available for inspection on May 9, 2003 at the Northeast Support Facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA. Characteristics of NOAA Ship DELAWARE II: Length Overall-155 feet; Beam (Moulded)-30 feet; Displacement-931 tons; Crew Size-15; Cruising Speed-10 knots. The FSC for this is J019 and the NAICS Code is 235990, small business size standard is $12.0 million. Copies of the solicitation will only be posted on FEDBIZOPPS.
