- This action originally published as RFP 20802-0103, on April 10, 2002 was republished as RFQ 20802-0030-2 on June 5, 2002. The resulting solicitation was also published under this same RFQ 20802-0030-2. The original solicitation called for comprehensive medical services and included consolidated billing. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office intends to make award for the provision of Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution Loretto, Pennsylvania. The services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services and inpatient/outpatient physician services. Consolidated billing and on-site physician services are hereby deleted from this requirement. The contract type is an indefinite delivery requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. Services shall be provided within a 35-mile radius of the FCI at Loretto, Pennsylvania. The estimated quantities for Base Year and all option years are as follows: 100 Inpatient Days, 200 Outpatient Visits for each contract year. The solicitation is currently available on General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under RFQ 20802-0030-2 with amendments. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site and should register at www.FedBizOpps.gov to receive notifications regarding information updates about this acquisition. The NAICS code for this service is 622110 with small business size standard of $29.0 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. Parties previously having submitted quotations may submit new quotations or notify this office, in writing, that their original quotation remains unchanged. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about July 13, 2003. This acquisition is unrestricted, open to both large and small businesses.
