- Description
- Project 502-03-104 Provide all labor, equipment, materials, insurance and supervision necessary to furnish specified alterations and new components to the two traction elevators in Building 2 and the one Hydraulic elevator in Building 6 of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. Construction cost range $250,000 to $500,000. Completion time 270 calendar days. One hundred twenty calendar day proposal acceptance period required, award is subject to availability of funds. Solicitation documents, no drawings applicable, will be made available not earlier than 6-26-03 and will be available for downloading from the website http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/ or http://www.eps.gov/. Offerors will need to click on Solicitation 502-51-03 to download the documents. Pre-bid and walk through of the project time and location will be addressed in the solicitation. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at this web address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments, it is essential that offerors register on bidders mailing list for this solicitation to receive notification of amendments. Requests for paper copies of specifications must be requested in writing to Attn: Herman Chelette (90C), Contracting Officer or via fax (318) 483-5063, e mail requests not accepted. Negotiated award procedures to be made on price and other factors, however, award may be made on basis of initial offers received. It should be noted that unsuccessful offerors are required to return bid documents or be prepared to reimburse the VA for their cost. NAICS Code 238290 applies.
