Description

NA A cutterhead dredge will be used to remove material from Three Rivers, Old River Lock Forebay and Tailbay, Baton Rouge Harbor (Devil's Swamp), and Port Allen Lock Forebay. Port Allen Lock Forebay shall be dredged to (-) 16.0 ft NGVD and material shall be placed beyond the (-) 30 ft contour in the Mississippi River; a bucket dredge shall be used to excavate material from the north edge of the floating guidewall. Baton Rouge Harbor shall be dredged to a depth of approximately (-) 15 ft NGVD and material sha ll be placed beyond the (-) 20 ft contour in the Mississippi River. Old River Lock Forebay shall be dredged to the dimensions on the drawing and material shall be placed beyond the (-) 12 ft contour in the Mississippi River. Old River Lock Tailbay shall be dredged to a depth of (-) 8 ft NGVD and material shall be placed in open water disposal not to exceed (-) 12 ft NGVD. Three Rivers shall be dredged to a depth of (-) 11.8 ft NGVD and material shall be placed beyond the (-) 15 ft NGVD contour in the Atc hafalaya River. A combination of floating and/or submerged pipeline shall be used for all these locations. Solicitation for this job will be available on a compact disc (CD) on or about June 30, 2003 at no charge.
