Description

NA The ERDC-TEC intends to award an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to obtain engineering support for planning, execution, analysis of data and any other area of consideration for Advanced Concepts Technology Demonstrations (ACTD), Spe cial Projects (SP), Simulation Based Acquisition (SBA), exercises and other demonstrations where required; modeling/simulation support; and support necessary to implement new Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), the Doctrine, Training, Leadership, Or ganization, Material and Soldier (DTLOMS), incorporating various technologies for various Military Services training and doctrine organizations. Task orders may be issued as cost-plus-fixed-fee, or firm-fixed price based on individual requirements. The resulting contract will consist of a base year and four (4) option years. The work to be accomplished under this contract for each order will cons ist of one or more tasks. Incentives may be included in individual task orders. The contractor shall, upon receipt of duly executed task orders, perform all services required by this contract and the task orders. The nature of this contract requires that the contractor possess, at the time of award, TS/SCI clearance for any personnel working on TS/SCI related matters. Contractor personnel shall comply with all US Army Topographic Engineering Center, Department of the Army and Department of Defense security procedures and regulations. The Government issued task orders shall provide for a minimum of $10,000 for the base year and a minimum of $10,000 for each option year, in the event the option years are exercised. The Government issued task orders under this contract shall not exceed a maximum of $250,000,000.00 including option years. The schedule Request for Proposals (RFP) release date is on or about 12 July 2003. The RFP will be released via the USACE VICKSBURG DISTRICT Homepage at http:www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/ and can be located by clicking on Advertised Solicitations. It i s the offeror's responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments to this solicitation. A pre-proposal conference will be held on or about 8 July 2003 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, local time, at the Topographic Engineering Center, 7701 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA. This conference will provide a description of the JPSD program. It will also provide responses to offeror's questions received before the pre-proposal conference. The first cut-off date for questions will be on or about 23 June 2003. The second cut-off date for questions will be on or about 17 July 2003.
