- NA This project consists of rehabilitation and concrete resurfacing of the South Pier of the Waukegan Harbor, Illinois, Reaches L and M. The contract will be broken down into a Base Contract and two Options. The base contract will include rehabilitation of a pproximately 70 linear feet of Reach L and approximately 190 linear feet of Reach M. Option 1 will add approximately 190 linear feet to the contract and Option 2 will add another approximate 190 linear feet. The classification code for this procurement is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 237990 and is unrestricted to business size. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. The estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Invitation for Bids will be downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY. Requests made by telephone, fax or e-mail will not be honored. Project specification files are in Portable Document Format (PDF) and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View . System requirements are: Windows 3.1 or greater, 4MB application RAM, 4MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 26 June 2003.
