- Quantity of 24 each (1 First Article Test Unit, 23 production units) Bushing Head Assembly, Naval Air Engineering Center Part Number 520459-1, NSN 3120-01-203-4874. Quantity of 24 each (1 First Article Test Unit, 23 production units) Bushing Body Assembly, Naval Air Engineering Center Part Number 523891-1. No option. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The bushing head and bushing body are components of the low loss launch valve. The launch valve is used in a crucial shipboard system supporting the launch and/or recovery of aircraft. The bushing head and bushing body are flight critical items. Technical Data Requirements defined in REI-03-17013 and REI-03-17014. Higher Level Quality Program required, refer to specifications/drawings and drawing notes. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at source in accordance with REI-03-17013 and REI-03-17014. May require stringent non-destructive testing and inspection to include magnetic particle inspection, radiographic inspection, material certifications, refer to specifications/ drawings and drawing notes. Delivery of First Article Test Unit due 60 days after date of award. Delivery of 23 production units due 60 days after acceptance of First Article Test. Pre-award survey and post award conference are anticipated. Export Control Data included, certified DD Form 2345 must be submitted (FAXED) prior to receipt of solicitation. See Notes 1 and 8. Request RFQ Package in writing (FAXED) by 30 June 2003. Quotes due 15 July 2003. All contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
